“Flowers are blooming” and moving on to the next stage

Since the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers in 2008, the Group has been committed to “sowing seeds” to generate new profits by opening branches in major cities throughout Japan, purchasing land for development with focus on good location in regions and expanding CCRC business, with “regions”, “seniors” and “wealthy” as the strategic keywords. And net sales for the year ended March 31, 2017 increased significantly year over year as the investments under the new strategy contributed to sales.
It was a year that the “seeds” we sowed grew and “sprouted up.”

For the year ended March 31, 2018, condominium apartments supplied in regions accounted for more than 80% of the total, and CCRC business successfully opened “Tomorrow PLAZA,” a multipurpose health facility, which demonstrates the comprehensive capability of the Group. In addition, a solid increase in purchase of land for development completed a path toward our target of net sales in the flow business of 100 billion yen, resulting in an upward revision of the Medium-Term Management Plan. I truly feel that it was the year that the “buds” of new profits “bloomed.”
Looking toward the next Medium-Term Management Plan and aiming at a shift of profit structure for the future, specifically, expansion of stable stock business, we executed rights offering and successfully raised necessary funds for investment with your support.

Keeping in mind our corporate philosophy since the foundation to “enrich the housing in Japan by continuing to offer the best quality houses and services that meet customers’ needs,” we will work together with all group companies toward our goals.

Please look forward to the Group’s challenges.
